Training Services SC-AFSP Personal Qualification Program
Qualify as a Semiconductor Automotive Functional Safety Professional (SC-AFSP) with the personal qualification program for ISO 26262 semiconductor development from SGS.
As more complex automotive technology emerges, more experts are required to ensure functional safety during semiconductor development. As an accredited services provider we provide you with the knowledge and qualification needed to become a Semiconductor Automotive Functional Safety Professional (SC-AFSP) with our two-step qualification program.
Why choose the SC-AFSP personal qualification program from SGS?
Our two-step qualification program involves the completion of two courses and a test:
- Module SC1: Introduction in ISO 26262 semiconductor development: this one-day module introduces the essential requirements of ISO 26262 for safety management and supporting processes and the steps needed to achieve ISO 26262 compliant semiconductor development
- Module SC2: ISO 26262 compliant interpretation of ISO 26262 for semiconductor development: this two-day module covers the individual process steps in detail, using examples and exercises taking into account ISO/PAS 19451 recommendations
- SC-AFSP: a one-hour test, offering you the opportunity to qualify as a Semiconductor Automotive Functional Safety Professional, taken at the end of Module SC2, assessing the content of Modules SC1 and SC2
Both modules can also be booked independently.
After successful completion of this program, you will qualify as an SC-AFSP.
Who should attend?
This program is aimed at anyone who wants to gain an overview of semiconductor-specific interpretation of ISO 26262, such as safety managers, quality managers and developers from the semiconductor industry.
